Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a passionate 7th grade science teacher, there’s nothing more rewarding than watching a student light up with curiosity and confidence as they discover their scientific potential. Every day, I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel inspired, challenged, and excited to explore the world around them through hands-on, high-quality science experiences.

I truly love what I do—guiding students to become critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and future innovators.

But to do this effectively, I need your help. Microscopes, lab glasses, scales, and informational books are essential tools that help my 7th graders engage with science in meaningful, hands-on ways. Microscopes allow them to explore cells and microorganisms up close, bringing abstract concepts to life. Lab glasses ensure safety during experiments, encouraging confident participation. Scales help them practice accurate measurement and understand scientific data, while books provide deeper knowledge and spark curiosity about the world around them. Together, these tools create an interactive learning environment where students can truly think and work like scientists.

With your generous support, I hope to provide my students with essential lab equipment and supplies that will bring science to life. From microscopes to models, from chemicals to lab kits—these resources are crucial for building engaging, meaningful lessons that go beyond the textbook and allow students to do science, not just learn about it.

Your donation, big or small, will help create a dynamic, high-level science experience that nurtures curiosity, supports academic success, and encourages students to see themselves as capable young scientists.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting our classroom and helping my students shine in science!
