This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are highly motivated and curious kids. By donating to my project, you will ensure that this curiosity and motivation is strengthened and sustained. My goal for this project is to add more high-interest and engaging books to our classroom library, along with reading rewards to honor all of my students' hard work.

If you've ever met a second-grade student before, then you'll know that they absolutely love a good graphic novel or silly story.

Nothing motivates my students more than reading books that they enjoy. That is why I am including series such as Dog Man, Pete the Cat, Pigeon books, and more. Along with these, I am including fun squishy toys, magnetic tiles, erasers, and more to reward students. I am hopeful that these books and prizes will continue to foster a love of reading in our class!

Our classroom consists of students that come from many different backgrounds and that have many different needs. By contributing to this project, you will help serve a diverse group of kids.
