Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have reached the time of the school year where my students need every bit of motivation they can to complete their work. It's cold outside, many of my students have to walk to school, and they want it to be summer as soon as possible. But many of my students have a love of reading and they keep checking my bookshelves to see if any new books have come in yet.
These new books will hopefully motivate my students to continue working hard and finish the marking period strong.
I made sure to pick a variety of books - they love a good murder mystery, a batch of my students have been into YA romance/fantasy, etc. I want to make sure the books on their bookshelves match the shiny, new books that they see when they are out in the world!
