My Students
My first grade students are very eager learners! They are so excited to be at school each day. I am greeted with 20 hugs every morning. They love to sing and dance while we learn! We enjoy reading books together, coloring, writing, and learning about how to be students. We have been spending a lot of time building our learning stamina and practicing how to be at school so that we can all do our best. My kids are caring and respectful and make me excited to go to work each day!
My Project
My students love gathering for our read aloud time each day. They are highly engaged and eager to share their thoughts and ideas about the book. We have begun diving deeper into texts over multiple days to help increase their reading comprehension.
We would greatly benefit from some specific titles that can be read closely and are engaging enough to read multiple times.
The titles on my wish list have numerous quality resources that I could use to help expand the content. I love that my students love to read and want to keep building on that love for books as our year progresses.
