My Project

In my second-grade classroom, I am dedicated to creating an interactive and supportive learning environment. I am seeking funding for silly putty, a versatile tool that enhances academic learning, social-emotional development, and STEM exploration.

Silly putty is beneficial not only for improving fine motor skills and focus but also as a resource for STEM exploration.

Additionally, it serves as an exciting tool for earned breaks and free time. Students will explore concepts such as observing the color-changing properties of the silly putty and forces, such as push and pull. This will encourage them to make predictions and engage in scientific inquiry. Integrating silly putty into my classroom will provide students with a rewarding and enjoyable way to engage both their minds and hands, supporting diverse learning styles, encouraging creativity, and sparking curiosity in STEM fields.
