I teach an incredible group of students who are curious, energetic, and eager to learn. Each day, they bring enthusiasm and creativity into our learning support classroom, but like many students, they struggle with staying focused and engaged—especially during longer periods of seated instruction. My goal is to create a learning environment that supports movement-based engagement, allowing all students to thrive.
That’s why I’m requesting wobble balance boards—a simple yet powerful tool that promotes focus, coordination, and active learning.
Research shows that physical movement can enhance concentration, improve cognitive function, and help students regulate their energy levels. These balance boards will give my students a structured way to move while they learn, helping them channel their energy in a positive way.
With these resources, my students will be able to stay engaged during lessons, improve their balance and core strength, and develop self-regulation skills that support their learning journey. Whether used during independent work, small group instruction, or brain breaks, these boards will make a lasting impact on their ability to focus and succeed.
