Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how curious and eager my students are to explore the world around them. Many of my students are in the early stages of their educational journey, and some have sensory processing needs that require special support. Each resource in this project is chosen with their growth and development in mind.
The sensory toys will help calm and focus my students, especially those with autism or anxiety, providing a safe and soothing way to self-regulate during transitions or stressful moments.
The wooden shape and number puzzles will foster early learning, enhancing their ability to recognize shapes, colors, and numbers in a hands-on, interactive way. The sorting and stacking toys will help improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and cognitive abilities through play.
The magnetic color and number maze will be a great tool for building fine motor skills and encouraging independent problem-solving, while the shape color sorting clock will not only teach them how to tell time but also reinforce their understanding of numbers and shapes.
These tools will create a positive, inclusive, and enriching learning environment, helping every student thrive at their own pace. I am excited for the opportunity to provide them with resources that are not only educational but also fun and engaging.
