My Project
The requested funds will be used to purchase the Carolina Introduction to Waves Kit, which includes all the materials and instructions needed to engage students in hands-on wave experiments. This kit will provide enough materials for all of my students to work in groups and conduct experiments.
Many of my students are still developing their English language skills, and traditional, lecture-based learning can be challenging for them to grasp fully.
This kit will provide the hands-on learning experiences they need to make the content more accessible and relatable.
Visual and tactile learning is a proven method for engaging ELL students, and I am excited to give them the opportunity to be successful and show their knowledge. These kits would allow for students to learn way beyond a textbook.
