Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 4th-grade students are from East Harlem in New York City. They come from diverse backgrounds and learning levels. This is an ICT class with many students having Individual Educational Plans and we also have English language learners. Many of the students also qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
These students amaze and inspire me daily.
They deserve equality and the opportunity to continue to grow and achieve their goals.
The materials offered on Teachers Pay Teachers will help plan and execute rigorous lessons and differentiated games and activities for students. I use materials for phonics, reading and math stations. Many of the items I purchase are also digital which allows for students to type right on the documents and hear the text read allowed. This allows greater access to students on all levels and in different languages. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are essential differentiate instruction and meet the many needs of the students.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
