Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten class is full of eager, curious learners who are always excited to explore, create, and discover. At this early stage in their academic journey, hands-on experiences are key to helping them develop essential skills. With a focus on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), my students can develop problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and collaboration skills—all while having fun!

I’m requesting a collection of STEM-based games and activities to enrich our classroom learning centers.

These materials will support our structured play during center time, allowing my students to explore concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging, hands-on activities.

By incorporating STEM games like building blocks, problem-solving games, and a chain reaction kit my students will have opportunities to develop their skills in creative problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking in a fun and interactive way.

STEM activities in early childhood lay the groundwork for future academic success by fostering creativity and curiosity. These games and hands-on activities give students the opportunity to think like engineers, scientists, and mathematicians at an age where their imagination and creativity are boundless.

The materials I am asking for will also help cultivate a love of learning, showing my students that learning can be fun, engaging, and filled with endless possibilities.

By supporting this project, you’re helping to provide my students with the tools they need to succeed academically and develop a passion for STEM. These engaging learning centers will not only boost their math and science skills but also help them collaborate, problem-solve, and build confidence—all while having fun!

With your help, we can inspire the next generation of innovators and thinkers, right from kindergarten.
