My Students
I have the privilege of teaching a group of enthusiastic prekindergarten students. They come in with mixed interests, abilities, personalities, and goals. I have taught many different grades, but this is by far my favorite because of the growth that I see in my students over the year. I love how curious they are of our world and how eager they are to learn new things. They are like little sponges. I am fortunate enough to help provide meaningful learning experiences for them to grow socially, physically, and academically. They love hands-on, active, engaging activities that allow them to problem solve.
I hope to enhance their learning opportunities with this math/science project.
My students come to school everyday excited about interacting with their friends, ready to have new experiences, and they look forward to being immersed in learning. I truly have the best job.
My Project
The materials I have chosen will provide multiple hands-on learning experiences for my little learners. These activities will help to improve my students' understanding of math and science concepts. The preschool picture globe, classic forest animals, science viewers, butterfly nursery, and puzzles will keep my students excited about learning. They are active learners and need activities that encourage them to explore, observe, interact, and manipulate. The Nuts About Math Set and Magnetic Shapes Maze will also increase their ability to problem solve.
