My Students
I am the very lucky teacher of students in an urban, integrated preschool. I love teaching the youngest learners in our district! My classroom consists of a mixed age group of students, ages 3, 4, and 5 years old. Some of my students have special needs, and some of my students are typically developing.
Our school family works so hard everyday to learn skills to develop students communication, social, motor, adaptive, and cognitive skills.
My Project
One of my favorite things to do as a teacher is to read to my students. Interacting with books is so important as we work on vocabulary development, cognitive skills, and communication skills.
Although our read alouds together will be virtual for the time being, I hope to engage my students and develop their love of reading by sharing these wonderful stories.
I would just love to add these books to my classroom library to help me as students learn about our first classroom rule (Be Kind!), and to help my young students learn about and understand what is going on in our world through a story.
