My Project

This project was created to support my students with significant behavioral disorders. The goal of this project is to make learning more engaging for my students. This project provides my students with books for literature studies to further their engagement in reading books of various complexities. Additionally, this project contains hands-on STEM kits to support students' ability to problem solve, collaborate, and engage in hands-on learning activities with their peers. This supports the critical needs of my students. All of my students have an increased need for additional reading support and intervention returning to in-person learning after COVID. Additionally, my students critically need hands-on learning opportunities to build collaboration skills with their peers. Our children with disabilities were significantly impacted socially during COVID as they had less access to all of their supports and services which develop these critical skills for them.
