My Project
In our diverse learning environment, we are focusing on social emotional learning, executive functioning as well as life skills also known as 'adulting'.
Flocabulary by Nearpod remains an exciting and impactful platform to supplement instruction of reading, writing, math, social emotional development, and life skills.
Our students are eager to begin their adulthood on the right foot, even though learning has given them several barriers. Navigating the world with a learning disability, intellectual disability, Autism, various health impairments and/or neurodivergence remains difficult any given day. Flocabulary can help make learning fun and promote engagement by delivering content in a relatable and entertaining format. I have had enormous success with Flocabulary with middle school students, and I am excited to continue the forward momentum with young adults learning requisite life skills such as budgeting, taxes, independent living, work ethic and interpersonal skill development.
