My Project
Kindergarteners love coming to school! They love to work with different tools and supplies. I am requesting India inks and alcohol ink for my students. Kindergarteners love these art supplies because they are bold, different, and easy to use. This is wonderful for five-year-olds. I wish you could see the joy on my student's faces as they work on an art project. They proudly show their creations to me and their classmates. We will be using these materials for all subject areas. We will also be using these inks for color combination experiments.
Exploring, discovering, and experimenting through art and science has great value in education.
Hands-on experiences lead to gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking, and verbal skills. I also find that my students are motivated and highly engaged when they are engaged in my classroom. We are working hard on learning recovery and social-emotional skills due to the COVID pandemic. I feel that art is the perfect way to engage 100% of my students. I am also requesting a book from one of their favorite book series. Thank you for supporting my students!
