Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a special education class at our elementary school. I have a group of energetic and dedicated students who learn best when their needs are met and accommodated. They love hands-on activities and engaging projects that allow their minds to grow and figure out a solution. They love coming to school every day to learn new things and grow personally and academically. I want to provide as many tools as possible to help my students access the curriculum and meet their IEP goals. My students have unique needs; most require visuals, sensory activities to help them focus during instruction.
My Project
I teach a group of dedicated and bright students that require explicit and scaffolded instruction to learn grade-level materials. My students are two to three grade levels below and require activities or lessons to support them in their Reading, Writing, ELA, and ELD skills. I need support in getting materials that will supplement my school curriculum and visuals that will help me meet the needs of my students. Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to provide my students with engaging materials, differentiated lessons, and visuals to support all my students.
