Help me give my students engaging, interactive learning digital resources that allow them to interact with Math, Reading and Science content. I plan on using digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers to supplement my instructional program.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a STEAM magnet center and we provide integrated curriculum that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. Our school is a Title I school where all students qualify for free lunch and come from low-income families. Regardless of circumstances, my students are eager to learn and reach their academic goals. Making sure my students have the materials they need for things like, Engineering and STEAM, has been a struggle. Funding has been limited these last years, and these STEAM resources will help me provide learning experiences that will help my students comprehend big concepts & make learning them more effective and fun. My students love the arts and having STEAM resources readily available for them in their home setting, would allow for daily opportunities for them to experience different element of Visual Arts!
My students are creative, enthusiastic learners and would love to draw and paint using oil pastels and water colors!
They love the arts and enjoy being creative and mixing colors to make new ones. Having the materials we need for art instruction during virtual learning, is vital right now.
My Project
These digital resources and google slides will make a big difference in the learning materials I provide for my students. These digital resources, such as google slides, are very interactive where student drag, match, assembly and solve problems digitally. I am an avid Teacher Pay Teacher's user and believe that teachers are the best designer of curriculum.
I plan on using these interactive, digital resources for synchronous and asynchronous instruction, where students will actively interact with content and solve problems.I will use these digital resources during Synchronous instruction to keep my students engaged and will also use them for student to practice independent reading and math skills during asynchronous instruction.
Keeping our students learning, and engaged during these difficult times is a big challenge. Finding new creative ways to keep students interested in learning by interacting and engaging with curriculum is key to academic progress.
So far my students love and enjoy learning through interactive google slides and digital resouces.
