My Students
My students love to be active learners. They are very inquisitive students who want to know the ins and outs of everything they interact with. Usually, when I pick my students up to begin class, they each have something they just can't wait to share with me, ranging from how excited they are to make ice cream, a hands-on project that turned liquid into a solid, to how a big brother helped one student with her homework last night. Each student is so excited to be at school.
But with that excitement comes the reality of having to meet the vast needs of my students, and I do that through differentiation; which means: lots of stuff!

My Project
My students have been so excited to use different STEM items to build their inspiration. I had a group of students build with our Flower STEM kit and make it taller than me! They were so proud of themselves. Another group built a fortress out of stacking cups, they were so excited about the design of all the parts of their fortress.
STEM materials help students explore their new knowledge in a hands-on way!
This is why I'm asking for different STEM materials to allow my students to continue their hands-on learning with new tools. Each one of these STEM materials I am requesting will help students explore a different skill (designing a Domino path, building dinosaur models using tools & following step-by-step directions, engineering a new construction that students can actually walk into!) Please help bring these hands-on STEM materials to my classroom!
