My Students
The school is situated in a rural area in the westernmost part of O'ahu, Hawaii. Our children face daily challenges and desperately need our support and care. We serve the highest population of students who are in poverty and lack reliable transportation.
I believe education is a priority and it should not be hindered for those that come from low-socioeconomic neighborhoods.
For most of them, it is difficult to get the basic school supplies that are needed to learn. Please join me in supporting our students that need a leg up in our society.
My Project
Our elementary school students are very enthusiastic and curious as well as very interested in careers in medicine and healthcare. At present, my elementary aged students have zero access to any sort of anatomy models or supplies. We have no materials, kits, posters, or visual representations to facilitate learning of any kind at our school for young, passionate students eager to learn about life science anatomy.
My students desperately need access to these types of hands-on resources in order to prepare for successful careers in STEM fields, particularly those in medicine, healthcare, or biological fields.
They are proactive critical thinkers who love learning and are passionate about life science classes and their education. These resources will be invaluable for their success in these endeavors. Please help me give my students the education that they deserve and so desperately need to pursue their passions!
