Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
In my school, we have students who are engaged and eager to learn the challenging content in the Earth Science, Geometry, and Precalculus curriculums. However, most of our students are learning remotely at the current time, making it difficult to practice and master new concepts.
My Project
A subscription to Nearpod will allow me to provide engaging ways for students to interact with the content during synchronous and asynchronous learning. Currently, we are using the free version of this product, and are excited to be able to access some of the advanced features in order to guide and support our learning.
Not only will students be able to share their thinking and work product, I will also be able to share student responses during whole-class lessons.
This will allow students to be able to see and learn from the work of their classmates.
