My Students
My first-grade students from Scottsdale, Arizona are creative, energetic, and eager to learn. They love hands-on activities, engaging projects, technology, and working with one another. Our school is Title One and many of my students come from low-income families. Within the past couple of years, our school has also made the transition to a traditional school. We are not always given everything we need to support our students. It is very important to me that I give my students the materials, resources, and tools that they need to be successful learners.
My Project
This project will help support my students during their small group reading centers. I strive to make engaging centers for my students to help them stay focused and enjoy learning. I am always purchasing center activities and games from Teachers Pay Teachers because the resources are amazing. I would greatly appreciate a TPT gift card to buy these center activities for my students.
I am not given the resources I need for reading centers, so I have to purchase them myself.
A TPT gift card and spelling stamps will help give my students the hands-on materials they need to learn 1st-grade reading standards in an engaging way.
