My Project

My students are resilient, strong, flexible, kind, amazing - I could go on forever! I teach fourth grade students that are all impacted by the military life. Their families devote themselves to our country and safety. They move every few years and bring with them a wealth of knowledge, experience and adaptability. As other students in the country and world, they have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in a mixture of distance learning, hybrid learning, and working hard to fill in gaps from the last couple years.

Help engage my students in their learning through hands on lessons in art and math.

My students are working so hard to catch up on academics they have missed, while also learning to be back in a classroom with other kids. Math manipulatives will help my students to see numbers in a more concrete way. We will work on multiplication and fractions.

My students love art. We have been learning about the elements of art and these materials will help students to get to participate in lessons with materials like clay and yarn.
