Engaging Graphic Novels and Classroom Supplies

Help me give my students a refreshed classroom library filled with high-interest graphic novels and new supplies!

My Project

My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy and student utilize it daily! Students are able to check out books from our classroom library to read in our classroom, other classes, and to take home, just like normal library books. Every student book that is placed in my library is well-loved and students are thankful for the opportunities to read them. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. Graphic novels have been a huge hit this year, so I would love to provide them with new ones to encourage reading. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.

Research shows that the best way to increase students' reading ability is to read more, and the best way to encourage students to read is to have high-interest, engaging books.

My students already have shown a great interest in independent reading, and this project will only help to increase their love of reading by finding a great book!

This project will also provide our classroom with some necessities to help students interact with texts, including notebook paper, writing utensils, and things to stay organized.
