This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students an opportunity to succeed and learn while engaging them in fun activities. This year I will be teaching art as an elective and I want to be able to provide my students with a curriculum filled with lessons that will engage every student with multiple mediums and projects that give students the chance to be successful. My students will learn the Elements of Art Principles of Design, Watercolor, Drawing, Acrylic Painting, Sculpture, Pastels, and Mixed Media through fun and engaging activities.

Also this year my students are expected to read everyday and without a library at our school, books choices are limited.

I would like to expand my classroom library and provide my students with a variety of books that meet their interest and promote their learning. My students come from low-income households so providing them with the necessary supplies for my community will definitely make a huge impact.
