My Project
The Engineering process is constantly being discussed in my classroom. Often times the students produce their projects from paper. With the building blocks, Magna-Tiles and other materials, my students will understand the concepts more thoroughly. For example, the students were asked to construct a bridge out of paper. Then they were asked what is the strongest shape for a bridge.
If they had these materials, they would have noticed that the triangle is the strongest shape through trial and error. The students viewed a video that told them but I want them to learn independently.
