My students need iPads to help bridge the gap between English and their first language.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Morrow's classroom raised $752

My Students
“Differences of habit and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open.” JK Rowling
My students are English Language Learners.
Some are immigrants, some are refugees, and some were born here but are raised by non-English speaking parents.
My kids are exquisite. They work incredibly hard to learn this language and stay on grade level. It's more difficult for them because they don't possess the language to complete a lot of grade level work with ease.
My Project
My students will be able to use the iPads for several things. It will help them translate words from their first language into English. They will be able to use interactive apps to learn letters/sounds, sight words, and new vocabulary. They will be able to watch videos that will help them attach what they're learning to a picture.
This donation will help my classroom because it's engaging for them.
While I'm working with small groups, they can use the iPads for different projects that will help them learn and retain English. It would mean the world to my kids and me.
