Engaging Decodable Texts for Kindergarten

Help me give my students decodable texts to support my students reading growth specifically focusing on a systematic approach of reading (including phonics and phonological awareness) needed to be able to read.

My Project

Everyone is focusing on every student's ability to read and understand that if you can think it, you can say it; if you can say it, you can write it; if you can write it, then you can read it. A sound-first approach to understanding the code for reading is so important, especially in the primary grades where students are focused on learning to read, rather than reading to learn. While I am working with students in small, groups, I would love to tailor my lessons to be focused on a specific skill--let's say long A, and be able to have a connected text to use with students.

Having a tangible book in their hands gives students an authentic experience and helps to make their learning most meaningful.

While turning to Teachers Pay Teachers has been fine, I am ready to give my students a better opportunity for a physical book in their hands that practices the skills they are learning with me.
