This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My charter school is a great small school with limited funds. My students learn Greek to help them understand root words, prefixes, and suffixes. The students are working on their second language from Pre-K. The students are amazing and kind children who are looking forward to the challenge of a meaningful education. Many of the students have come from schools all over the district in order to receive a well rounded education. With your donations I plan to help reach all of my students.
My Project
This class set of books will bring fun and excitement to the end of our school year. I create a digital learning atmosphere but we still require the physical books for students to refer back to.
This exciting novel will bring opportunities to help transition students from fifth grade to middle school expectations.
We hope to use this novel study to make the transition and work load easier for students for middle school. They will be required to read chapters and focus on standards based instruction (while secretly having fun). This book has caught the attention of many students in the past and I can't wait to enjoy it again.
