This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me provide some engaging and popular books for my 8th grade ELA classroom. We read independently every day I strive is to provide them with literature that they can connect with and engage with.
My goal is to get 100% of my students to love reading!
Reading holds an intangible value in our society. It is a skill that will impact their education, their future career, and their success in the years to come.
By choosing to fund this project, we can provide them with the resources and choices needed to reach that goal. I've listed a variety of good reads, comic books, and two popular book series. These will fill the shelves and give my students the opportunity to engage with this vital skill.
