My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher in an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classroom. My co-teacher and I teach 19 kindergarten students from diverse backgrounds who have a variety of different needs and learning styles.

The students in our classroom benefit from interactive, hands-on activities.

From 8:00 each morning until 2:20 in the afternoon, our students work hard to learn their letters for pre-reading and writing as well as numbers for counting and one-to-one correspondence. The students love when they have the opportunity to work to learn through engaging activities.

My Project

My students' learning will be made better by these materials as they will allow for us to pull small-group in a safe, socially distanced matter. The dry erase whiteboard on wheels as well as the two table-top magnetic whiteboards will allow us to work more closely on specific skills with students for additional support. It will allow us to use the magnetic letters and numbers to differentiate and to provide hands-on, interactive activities for our learners. The book display will allow us to showcase seasonal books as well as culturally responsive books, which we are super eager to do!

Students will use these materials to better engage with their learning as they provide for safe, as well as both individual and small-group learning.

We are very eager to bring these materials to our classroom for our young learners!
