My Students

I am privileged to teach 45 outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over two-thirds of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even through adversity, these students are still resilient, excited, and enthused about learning.

Our school is very culturally diverse, extremely competitive, and we strive for excellence daily.

Willing, ready, and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.

My Project

This project is to help complete some materials I have and need a few more items to take class engagement to the next level. Due to the COVID-19, I need a thermometer so when I see students not being the norm and I suspect they may be ill I can do a temperature check quickly to maintain safety in my classroom. I need the dry erase folders to limit contact with paper resources and sharing materials. Some of the science activities that I have planned will need the various tapes. The batteries and light bulbs will be used with a circuit activity.

Also, let my students stay connected with a real world matter by having the Just Mercy books.

Allowing the students to express themselves in a safe community when needed.
