My Project
These multisensory learning activities are interactive, engaging, and the perfect way to help my students improve their foundational reading and math skills. These materials will be used during our small group learning time. Students will learn to add and subtract using their senses of sight, hearing, and touch!
My students learn best when new concepts are presented in multiple ways. They will enjoy using their senses to engage in small group addition and subtraction activities with their peers
The multisensory reading activities will also be a hit in my classroom. Students will love to sound out the CVC words using their senses. This tactile approach to learning phonics has been shown to be an effective strategy for teaching students with disabilities.
