Engaging and Flexible Classroom Environment Leads to Great Learners!
Help me give my students flexible seating and headphones for their school year! As a first year teacher I am lacking in both of these items but my students would greatly benefit from them! Thank you!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Providing flexible seating options occasionally for students will lead to further engagement and allow learners to succeed throughout the day. Providing flexible seating allows students: choice, supports their physical health, comfort, community, communication, commitment to learning, sensory input and fun. Headphones will greatly benefit the students whose families can not financially provide headphones for their children. Headphones can be fragile items, especially with younger students, so breakage can happen. Having back up headphones in the classroom will provide the means for students to continue to engage in learning on their computers. Thank you!
