My Project

The specific items we are requesting, including STEM materials linked to novels like "A Long Walk to Water," "Pax," "The Tiger Rising," and "Love That Dog," as well as mesh pouch bags for take-home novels, a class set of clipboards, geodes, and a carpet cleaner, will significantly enhance our students' learning experience. By integrating STEM materials with literature, we will create a multidisciplinary approach that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills while deepening their understanding of the novel's themes. The mesh pouch bags will facilitate at-home reading, promoting literacy and parental involvement. The clipboards will provide students with the flexibility to learn and engage in activities both inside and outside the classroom, fostering a dynamic learning environment. Geodes will offer hands-on scientific exploration, sparking curiosity and excitement for geology. The carpet cleaner will ensure a clean and healthy learning space, crucial for maintaining focus and well-being after large, engaging STEM projects.

Our goals for this project are to foster a love of reading and STEM in our students, enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and create a vibrant, interactive learning environment.

We aim to bridge the gap between literature and science, making learning more relevant and engaging for our students. Our students are special because of their diverse backgrounds, unique perspectives, and boundless potential. They thrive on interactive, hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. This project will provide them with the tools and opportunities to explore, imagine, and achieve, empowering them to become lifelong learners and innovators.
