My Project
LEGOs will be used in a small group after-school setting to provide my students with a unique and engaging way to explore growth mindset and social-emotional learning through history. The small group relaxed environment will enable learning to take place through casual discussion as students build their historical sets. This activity will not only allow students to practice and demonstrate skills related to these topics but also provide a safe space for making mistakes and persevering through challenges. They will build and learn about science and the world via the LEGO Lighthouse, the Mars River, and archaeological fun in Egypt.
