This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine walking into the school media center and seeing groups of students working together with Legos, dominoes, Brain Flakes, and various other manipulatives as they try to tackle this week's STEM challenge. With the funding of this project, that will be happening soon at our media center.

The materials and supplies I am requesting through this project will be used to create STEM bins for my students to use during their time in the media center.

The various bins will support hands-on learning and student engagement. Students will be able to work independently and/or collaborate to complete various STEM challenges. This bins will promote student creativity and critical thinking through a memorable educational experience.
