My Project

My main component to this project is providing food incentives as I have noticed that it plays a significant role in supporting student education by boosting motivation, improving focus, and encouraging attendance. Offering food as a reward can enhance students’ motivation to participate in attending classes, and complete assignments, as an immediate reward often encourages engagement and a drive toward their goals. For me, I've also noticed that some students' stomachs growling since they didn't eat enough or anything in the mornings. I want to be a teacher that's able to provide that food when needed.

This project includes sensory fidgets, a necessity that I’ve noticed many of my students need in order to focus on the lesson and stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed.

These fidgets provide a manageable outlet for students' energy and help reduce anxiety, making it easier for them to concentrate on learning activities. When I offer a tactile and sensory experience, these tools help students self-regulate, enabling them to process information more effectively and participate actively.

Lastly, I have a printer in my classroom and it needs black ink. With it, I can easily print out worksheets my students need to complete learning tasks without me leaving the classroom in the middle of a lesson.
