My students need Expo dry erase markers and two bottles of Expo dry erase cleaner!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Miller's classroom raised $141

My Students
We have the whiteboards, but need the Expo dry erase markers. Help keep us actively engaged!
The super smart 5th graders that will be using these supplies have not been dealt the best deck of cards in life.
Many of them have just been united with one of their parents after being released from prison for murder or drug convictions, while another parent still resides there. Some others take care of younger siblings, while a single parent works to make a minimal income. The school free/reduce lunch rate is 90% and breakfast is a benefit to every student to ensure learning. Despite the circumstances, our classroom is a "no excuses" environment in which everyone is expected to learn, work hard, and most of all, do their very own best!
My Project
Instead of using the typical worksheet to teach students, I would like to use Expo dry erase markers to keep the students actively engage in various types of lessons throughout the day. For example, a math problem can be started on a whiteboard and exchanged with a partner. The partner can finish it. Then the original person can check it. By using a whiteboard, the activity can be interesting and engaging. We also need two bottles of Expo dry erase cleaners to keep our boards nice and neat!
My students know that I care about them, but knowing that others care about their education and are interested in making learning fun for them WILL make a difference in each of their lives.
These are not the typical kids that get everything they want. A donation towards a piece in their education will make a difference.
