My Project

My students in first grade are special with their love for exploration and play alongside their learning! I am really excited about all of the new books and hands-on learning with the plants. The I Can Read Book sets will allow each student to have a reader with them at their level. The plant kingdom living set will help my students learn more about how different things grow and change and teach responsibilities and ownership. My students will be able to track the growth and development of something they are caring for as the plants flourish in our safe and responsible classroom. With outdoor time, my students will work on the goal of playing fair and safe with one another with the jump ropes and soccer balls! Having independent work time during the day will work alongside the goal of stamina building! The Magna-Tiles set will allow students to work with geometry in a hands-on way with creating 2D and 3D shapes and patterns. Additionally, the big Post-It notes will allow for students to work collaboratively to write down and share ideas!
