We have an amazing bunch of kids at our school, who come to us to learn, have fun, and be loved! We strive to provide a safe environment and opportunities for our students to not only learn academically, but socially and emotionally.
We are a low-income school and oftentimes there are students who struggle with basic coping skills.
We are focusing this year to not only support our students academically, but developing their social and emotional skills with an assortment of strategies. We want our students to be able to have life skills and academics.
My Project
These Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will allow me the ability to purchase activities that are already made that will be engaging and support my students' learning online right now! I would love to be able to dedicate more time to building relationships with my students versus having to create all of our resources for the week. There are so many great resources out there, but I can not financially purchase all of them. It would be such a lift off my shoulders to be supported through this project. I would be getting resources that would be used during guided reading to review sight words and phonic skills, as well as resources to be used in our core subjects.
