My Students

In elementary school, now more than ever, we must challenge students to engage in their learning through new and innovative ways. Whether it is through use of a computer lab, individual laptops, electronic games or iPads, we use technology to enhance and deliver curriculum to our students.

In my school district located in Oregon, technology plays a significant role in the implementation of our new integrated curriculum.

Teachers access an online platform where the curriculum is housed. Student lessons, practice drills, ebooks and animated lessons are projected onto a screen via a projector. My 1st graders need to be captivated by learning! This will ignite a spark that will fuel their future learning.

My Project

The Apple iPad will enable me to show lessons from the Internet, as well as prepared lessons from the new online integrated curriculum. Many educational movies are now only accessible online or through video streaming. With the freedom of the World Wide Web, there is no limit to what we can learn- the sky is the limit!

Our lives are ever changing and so is our children's education.

Having the capability to access the rapidly changing world gives us flexibility to meet the needs of our growing children. Every child can become a successful and lifelong learner. It is my honor to help them get there.
