My Students
I work at an amazing school. Our community is close-knit, and many, like myself, grew up in our town. My students represent all different backgrounds, socio-economic status, and ethnicities. The staff works hard to provide meaningful instruction and memories that will last a lifetime.
My students are encouraged to be learners!
It's my goal to instill a love of learning through inquiry, exploration, and reading. I feel that books in their hands give them the greatest chance to go on an adventure, meet new people, or travel to faraway places.
My Project
Our classroom utilizes flexible seating to reach all learners. I am constantly on the hunt for items that can be added to our classroom. Providing a variety of options allows for all students to have a space that is comfortable and works for them.
I hope to add new stools for active learners, as well as basic necessities, such as headphones, so that all students have what they need.
This project will help me continue to reach out and help all students, making it possible for them to have materials to help them be successful.
