My Project

My first graders love to learn about their community and the world! Scholastic News magazine offers them an appropriate, engaging, and fun way to learn about current events in their community and the world. Topics and themes covered by Scholastic News, throughout the school year, also align with the first grade reading skills and social studies learning objectives.

My students love reading, watching clips, playing games, and sharing ideas on what they are learning every Friday with a Scholastic News magazine issue in their hands.
