Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are energetic, curious, and eager to learn! As middle schoolers in a Title I school, they thrive in a learning environment that balances academic rigor with active engagement. Many of my students face challenges outside of school, and I strive to provide a space where they feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. A well-rounded education includes not just academics but also physical activity and organization to set them up for success.
To foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and organization, I am requesting essential supplies that will benefit my students both inside and outside the classroom.
The soccer balls, footballs, volleyballs, tetherballs, and playground balls will give my students much-needed opportunities to engage in physical activity, teamwork, and structured play during recess, PE, and after-school activities. These resources will help them build confidence, improve coordination, and develop valuable social skills.
Additionally, the zippered binder pencil pouches will ensure that students stay organized with their school supplies. Many of my students struggle to keep track of their materials, and having dedicated storage pouches will allow them to focus on learning rather than searching for missing items.
