Our classroom is a community in which we learn and grow. My goal is to create an environment that welcomes all learning styles, perspectives, and experiences to celebrate and embrace my students for who they are. I've learned from experience that one size doesn't fit all! As we live and learn in our space, I continue to make sure that our classroom is student-centered for fourth graders learners who are physically, emotionally, developmentally, and culturally unique.
Seating options, such as the Kore Wobble stools, are a big hit in our classroom!
They support inclusive spaces and give my students the choice and voice of where to work and with whom they learn best in our classroom. I want my students to see themselves as self-advocates, decision-makers, and problem-solvers in all they do including choosing where and with whom to sit.
Along with flexible seating option, some students also need charging options for the days they arrive to school without a fully charged Chromebook.
Learning happens when students connect and belong, and I look forward to fostering my students' love for learning with open arms and flexible seating!
