My Project

Many of my students come to school with limited access to consistent meals. They work so hard to focus on learning, even when they're hungry.

A simple snack can transform a challenging afternoon into a moment of shared joy and connection.

It's amazing how a small treat can lift their spirits and create a positive learning environment.

My students express sincere gratitude for even the smallest acts of kindness. They understand that a snack means someone cares about their well-being.

When snacks are shared, it builds a sense of community. My students share, and help each other. It helps to create a kind classroom.

Hunger is a major distraction. Providing snacks, including chips, cookies, and candy, ensures that students have the energy they need to concentrate on their lessons, especially during long school days.

This makes a direct impact on their ability to learn and retain information.

Snacks create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere. When students' basic needs are met, they feel more comfortable and ready to learn.

This helps to reduce stress and anxiety, which can be significant barriers to learning.

For some students, a snack at school may be the most reliable meal they receive. Providing this support can encourage consistent attendance and active participation.

This helps to close achievement gaps and ensure that all students have equal opportunities to learn.
