My Project
Our students are unique in many ways, and one of those is our high numbers of students who are low-income and need assistance in more ways than others may think. Our students depend on us for more than just lunch; we have a high number of families who utilize our Food Pantry and Community Closet as well.
Our low-income students need more than just free lunch to help them out with their needs, and two big things kids need to get through the day are snacks and something to block out sound.
More and more students are utilizing headphones to block out sound and while we have a few pairs of headphones that are simply for that, to block out noise, students also enjoy listening to music when allowed. It is difficult to see some students seeing other students walking around with their AirPods in, knowing that is not something they can afford. The wired headphones will allow students to not feel so left out!
