Energize Our Classroom by Providing Healthy Snacks
Help me give my students a quick snack when they are hungry and won’t be home for hours. A bag of trail mix, or a quick healthy snack might just hold them over till they get home.

My Project
If a child ever feels weak or has sugar issues, I can help by providing them a snack not far from them. With how our schedules are usually kids tend to work nonstop using their brain. Transitioning from 2nd to 3rd is a big jump and will require more energy! What better way to help them than giving them a snack when needed. With being a school in a low income area, there are a lot of kids who do not have a lot of food at home. I have had quite a few kids say their parents never have they money to send them to school with a snack and it makes me feel bad. With having kids of my own, I can totally relate to this! Please help provide snacks for my classroom so they are able to have a snack as needed, whether it is for when they need extra energy, feel lightheaded, their sugar is low or even to have a snack to have them last the hunger pain they feel on the way home from school.
