This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Energize Leadership Academy with refreshing snacks.

Students attend Saturday's Leadership Academy to develop leadership skills so they will be successful as student leaders.

Students are at school from 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

Students need nutrients to keep their brains functioning while learning about leadership skills that will contribute to them being successful leaders. They will learn how to advocate for themselves, how to problem solve, how to mentor others, and how to plan and organize town hall meetings with their house team, so it's important to provide snacks during this time to energize them.

Ms. Thomas West Preparatory School Grades 6-8

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
