This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are between the ages of 7years and 10 years of age, multicultural, and eager to learn the English language.
They are, however, from low-income families and need all the resources to help them develop the language skills they need to be successful academically.
My school is a Title I school that was affected by the COVID19 pandemic. The ESL students take the TELPAS (Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) test yearly to determine their Language proficiency. The students need water and snacks for the long and tedious test. We need you help to get some snacks and mints for the students for the test in order to stay energized.
My Project
The TELPAS ( Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System) test is a long and tedious one. The students seat for long hours reading and typing online. Even though the students were reminded to eat breakfast at home or in school, they are too young to understand the need. They need some form of refreshment to keep their energy going throughout the test.
The snacks and mints that our donors will donate to us will be helpful in energizing our students during the TELPAS test.
Their brains and minds will be energized so that they do great in the test.
